Balmerol Aquaroll 631(PTE) is a semi-synthetic Cold Rolling oil designed for modern 4-Hi / 6 Hi Cold Rolling mills operating at high speed and rolling thinner gauges. It is a synergistic blend of especially selected synthetic esters and performance enhancing additives package to provide desired lubricity, load bearing ability for thin gauge rolling at high speed, enhanced roll life, vastly improved emulsion life and high level of mill cleanliness.

Balmerol Aquaroll 631 (PTE) has a unique combination of complex polymeric dispersants with non- ionic emulsifiers which ensure:

• Controlled oil droplet size with a very narrow distribution range and shear stability
• Good iron fines removal property enabling excellent lubricity, high level of strip cleanliness and consistent performance over extended period of usage.
• Much reduced specific oil consumption also ensures savings to the user.
• These properties provide a direct scope of productivity improvement.

Applications / Recommendations Of Aquaroll 631(PTE)

• For best performance, Balmerol Aquaroll 631 (PTE) is recommended to be used at emulsion strength of 2 - 5%. The emulsion should be made with de-mineralized water with low chloride, total hardness and sulphate content.
• Facility for mechanical agitation of emulsion by stirrer, fully operational recirculation facility and electrical heating for maintaining the emulsion at 55 – 60oC are required. These would ensure good emulsion health & rolling performance.
