System Cleaner
CONTRAM CB 3 has bactericide, fungicide and cleaningproperties. It is used for cleaning and disinfecting the machines following 4 steps:
- Addition of the product 24 to 48 h before changeover
- Changeover & Cleaning of the machine
- Rinsing of the installation
- Filling of the machine with the fresh emulsion
APPLICATIONS
Add CONTRAM CB 3 in the old metalworking fluid 24 to 48 hours before changeover. Once treated, the fluidstill performs the same way.
The addition of a cleaning product can generate some foaming phenomenon when used with soft water, high pressure or in some particular cases. Circulation of fluid must be maintained to permit the complete cleaning of the installation even if you cannot work with it.
CHANGEOVER & CLEANING OF THE MACHINE
Remove the old fluid from the machine. Clean properly the tanks and the machine with a high pressure cleaner to remove mechanically all resid- uals contained in the machine.
RINSING OF THE INSTALLATION
Fill the tank with fresh and clean water and put onthe circulation for about 1 to 2 hours into the machine.Once this time elapsed, check pH of water and any foam presence. Empty the machine. Rinsing is done to eliminate CONTRAM CB 3 and also the remaining residues in the machine.
FILLING OF THE MACHINEWITH FRESH METALWORKING FLUID
Adjust the volumetric mixing system to the requiredconcentration and open the watergate.
Fill in the machine with the fresh metalworking fluid.
– Once the machine tank is filled:check the productconcentration and adjust the mixing system to the needed concentration for the addi- tion of in use product (concentration of the addi-tions is generally half of the working concentra- tion).
