Extreme Pressure Lithium Grease with Anti-Seize Compound
PETRONAS Grease Li AS is an extreme pressure Lithium grease with anti-seize compound specially developed for general maintenance and installation procedures used in industrial, mining and marine applications.
Formulated with selected mineral base oils enhanced with Lithium 12-hydroxystearate soap, advanced extreme pressure, anti-oxidant, anti-rust, solid lubricants and corrosion inhibitors. PETRONAS Grease Li AS provides excellent protection under all types of corrosive conditions and which, even after years, enables the user to loosen threaded connections of all types of equipment with a minimum of effort.
PETRONAS Grease Li AS meets or exceeds key industrial specifications.
Applications
PETRONAS Grease Li AS is recommended for use in:
- assembling of intake and exhaust manifold studs, cylinder head studs, boiler and cylinder head gaskets, face plate studs, gas burner connections, steam pipe threads as well bolts and nuts used on flange connections
- sealing all types of high pressure joints whether under hot or cold conditions and does not harden. It can be used for press fits and helps prevents fretting corrosion on shafts and housings when assembling ball and roller bearings
- all automotive passenger and truck wheel studs and nuts
Note: PETRONAS Grease Li AS is recommended for operating temperature range of -20°C to +100°C (Max. +110°C).
Due to the unique solid lubricants configuration application materials include the following metals: Mild Steel, Stainless steel, Bronze, Copper, Galvanized and many more.
For even better results and longer life apply the thread grease and place in position. Apply solvent resistant silicone sealer around the contact points between the bolt and body/nut.
