Product Description Of TC-CR-60 High Performance Thread Compound For Drill Collars As Per API Bulletin 7A1
Balmerol Grease TC-CR-60 is a Lead based thread compound specifically developed for the maximum protection of drill collars in oilfield applications, conforming to specifications laid out in API Bulletin 7A1. Balmerol Grease TC-CR-60 contains finely powdered metallic Lead, non-metallic modifiers and special extreme pressure additives in a grease base which is highly resistant to water and has excellent load bearing capacity. Balmerol Grease TC-CR-60 provides outstanding resistance against vibration and shock loads. It has good corrosion preventive characteristics and its use does not result in excessive metallic build-up. Balmerol Grease TC-CR-60 protects drill collars against galling and seizing.
Applications / Recommendations Of TC-CR-60
Balmerol Grease TC-CR-60 is formulated as per standard international norms for specific use in drill collars. However, it may also be applied on tool joints when a Lead based compound is recommended.
